What do kWp and kWh mean?

Solar electricity systems are given a rating in kilowatts peak (kWp). This is essentially the rate at which it generates energy at peak performance for example at noon on a sunny day.

The kWp of a domestic system will vary depending on how much a customer wants to spend and the roof area available to accommodate the panels.

The total amount of electricity the system actually generates in a year is measured in kilowatt hours (kWh). This will depend on the system’s orientation, shading and how sunny your site is, as well as the size of the system (in kWp) that you have installed.

What happens next after I have placed my order ?

Within 2 weeks our technical team will carry out a full site survey. Then the process continues read more

How long does it take to install ?

We will aim to complete your installation within 6-8 weeks from initial order. Once we commence the work it is usually installed within 3 days.

How much electricity will my system generate?

Depending on the size of your solar array, you should expect to generate upwards of 25% of your monthly electricity consumption. We will give you an accurate example at time of quotation.

Is there much maintenance involved ?

In order for your system to work to its maximum capacity the Solar panels need to be clean and free from the one thing that seems to get everywhere in Dubai. Dust! A build of sand particles will cause a reduction in the panels’ performance.

Here at SES solar we have an array of maintenance packages to ensure you are saving the most amount of money at all times. We remote monitor your systems performance and will ensure that you PV panels are energy efficient all year round.
